Brief introduction: On December 4, 1995, the defendant Wang Moumou was arrested with the approval of the People's Procuratorate of Ma'anshan City for robbery, and then was ordered to be arrested at large. On May 28, 2020, the defendant Wang Moumou returned to surrender. The case was investigated and concluded by the public security organ. On July 23, 2020, the defendant Wang was suspected of robbery and was transferred to the People's Procuratorate of Maanshan for examination and prosecution.  

　　 After the case was accepted, the Ma'anshan Procuratorate carried out the work of reading the papers. According to the public security interrogation records, the defendant Wang confessed all the facts of the 33 crimes committed. After reading the papers, the Court informed Wang that Wang confessed only three times and the rest 30 times, which was significantly different from the interrogation records in the public security organ. In order to find out this fact, the Ma'anshan Municipal Procuratorate launched the investigation and verification procedure, obtained the synchronous audio and video recordings of the interrogation during the investigation stage, and carried out a comprehensive verification. It was found that the investigators directly made the false confession of the defendant Wang Moumou to admit all the robbery crimes, resulting in the false appearance of the defendant Wang Moumou's full confession.  

　　 After finding out that it is illegal for the public security organ to investigate and collect evidence, the Ma'anshan Procuratorate ruled out the interrogation record as illegal evidence according to law, and issued the Notice on Correcting Violations and the Notice on Explaining the Legality of Evidence Collection to the public security organ. The public security organ re interrogated the defendant Wang Moumou, objectively and truthfully produced the interrogation content, and issued the Situation Statement on September 21, 2020 to correct and reply to the illegal acts of investigation activities.
