Under the background of market economy, the number of civil disputes caused by economic activities has risen sharply, and "litigation" has become the main way for people to safeguard their civil rights and interests. Accordingly, the number of civil cases in the court system also showed an explosive growth trend. In such a large number of cases, mistakes are inevitable. For the trial supervision of the court, people are more familiar with the fact that the court starts retrial on its own, and fewer people apply to the procuratorate for protest.

The revised Civil Procedure Law stipulates that "the People's Procuratorates have the right to exercise legal supervision over civil proceedings". In this regard, the procuratorial organ seized the opportunity to establish a new mechanism for civil procuratorial case handling that is compatible with the new civil procedure law, actively strengthen publicity, expand the scope of accepting cases, reasonably allocate case handling forces, strengthen the linkage between departments and between the superior and subordinate procuratorates, improve the efficiency of case handling, and create a new situation for civil procuratorial work. As far as I know, the procuratorial organ of our province has supervised civil cases according to law, and has achieved results, gradually establishing a good image in the hearts of the people, and making contributions to social harmony and stability.
