After the hearing, an agreement on civil public welfare litigation service compensation was reached on the spot with Mr. Li, who offset ecological damage compensation in the form of "labor compensation". It is reported that this case is the first case of alternative restoration of the ecological environment by means of labor compensation by the Lu'an Municipal Procuratorate.

During the period from July to September 2023, the party concerned, Li Moumou, illegally hunted wild animals with methods and tools banned by the state, with a value of more than 29000 yuan. He should not only bear criminal responsibility, but also bear civil responsibility for ecological environment restoration as his behavior of destroying the ecological environment infringes on social and public interests.

After communicating with Mr. Li in handling the case, the prosecutor learned that he was a vulnerable group with no fixed income and was older, and his ability to judge the level of national protected animals was weak. In order to prevent wild animals from harming crops, and to reflect the organic unity of political and legal effects in handling the case, the hearing members agreed to use "labor compensation" instead of economic compensation.
