On March 12, the procurator of the Chief Ecological Procurator Studio of Chizhou Procuratorate and the staff of the Chief River Office of Chizhou City went to the Qiupu River along Yanjiang Road in Chizhou City and along the Yangtze River (Chizhou Section) located in Wusha Town, Guichi District. On the spot, they surveyed and collected clues affecting the ecological environment of Qiupu River and the Yangtze River (Chizhou Section) and flood safety.

Through field investigation, it is found that several buildings along the shoreline of the Qiupu River belong to squatting, which has a great impact on the river beach ecosystem. Along the Yangtze River (Chizhou section), a gas storage station set up in the beach area seriously threatens the ecological environment and flood safety of the Yangtze River. In view of the problems found in this joint supervision, the prosecutor proposed to the municipal river director's office and the town government on the spot to dismantle illegal building facilities as soon as possible and take remedial measures to effectively restore the damaged land ecology, and strictly implement routine river patrol and law enforcement supervision.

In order to give full play to the procuratorial supervision function and help the implementation of the working mechanism of "river chief system+procuratorial system", the ecological procurator office of the Chizhou Procuratorate carries out its work by sharing information with the municipal river chief office, holding joint meetings, joint supervision, etc., focusing on the public welfare damage that affects the ecological environment of Chizhou waters and shorelines, and urging relevant functional departments to solve problems, To inject legal force and procuratorial wisdom into the construction and protection of Chizhou's ecological environment, and work together with relevant functional departments to restore a clean, clean and ecologically beautiful landscape of rivers and lakes in Chizhou.
