[World Intellectual Property Day] Wuhu, Anhui: Establish a cooperation mechanism to strengthen intellectual property protection

Recently, led by the Wuhu Procuratorate and hosted by the People's Procuratorate of Wuhu Economic and Technological Development Zone, the Wuhu Procuratorate held the countersignature ceremony of the cooperation mechanism for intellectual property protection and the first joint meeting of participating agencies in the Economic and Technological Development Zone Procuratorate.

This activity is to follow and implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on "improving the level of legalization of intellectual property protection", "strengthening the whole chain of intellectual property protection", and "deepening the reform of the system and mechanism of intellectual property protection". It is another new measure taken by the Wuhu Municipal Procuratorate after the establishment of the "Intellectual Property Procuratorate Office", It is also an important and far-reaching activity for Wuhu's intellectual property protection procuratorial work carried out in the National Intellectual Property Publicity Week, marking the formal and comprehensive establishment of Wuhu's intellectual property protection cooperation mechanism.

The meeting invited the relevant leaders of Wuhu Customs, Wuhu Tobacco and two-level market supervision, public security, courts and procuratorial organs to participate. The Wuhu Procuratorate, the Economic Development Zone Procuratorate and the municipal and district level cooperation units signed the Intellectual Property Protection Cooperation Mechanism drafted by the procuratorial organ. In combination with their own work, the participating units raised questions and opinions from various aspects, such as jurisdiction ownership, evidence collection, law application, identification difficulties, traceability attack, obligee protection, and put forward valuable opinions and suggestions on how to better implement the cooperation mechanism.

The meeting also reached consensus on four aspects: forming cohesion through joint meetings, reducing resistance to finalization through evidence indexing, maintaining learning vitality through research and exchange, and forming protection synergy through intervention and cooperation.
