How to apply for legal aid in medical accidents

Legal basis:
The Regulations on Legal Aid came into force on September 1, 2003. The regulations clearly define that legal aid is the responsibility of the government. According to Article 10 of Chapter II of the Ordinance

According to the provisions of, citizens who have the following matters and do not entrust agents or defenders can apply for legal aid or be designated by the people's court to defend:
(1) Claim for state compensation according to law;
(2) Requesting social insurance benefits or minimum living security benefits;
(3) Requesting payment of pensions or relief funds;
(4) Requesting the payment of alimony, upbringing or support;
(5) Request for payment of labor remuneration;
(6) Advocating civil rights and interests arising from acts of bravery for righteousness;
(7) The criminal suspect fails to hire a lawyer due to economic difficulties after being questioned for the first time by the investigation organ or since the date of taking compulsory measures;
(8) The victim and his legal representative or close relatives in a case of public prosecution have not entrusted agents ad litem due to economic difficulties since the date the case was transferred for examination and prosecution;
(9) The private prosecutor and his legal representative in a case of private prosecution have not entrusted agents ad litem due to economic difficulties since the case was accepted by the people's court;
(10) When the people's court designates a defense for the defendant in a case where the public prosecutor appears in court for public prosecution and the defendant does not entrust a defender due to economic difficulties or other reasons, the legal aid institution shall provide legal aid;
(11) If the defendant is blind, deaf, mute or a minor and has not entrusted a defender, or if the defendant may be sentenced to death but has not entrusted a defender, when the people's court designates a defense for the defendant, the legal aid institution shall provide legal aid without having to review the defendant's economic situation.
