（1） For compensation for personal injury, the victim should pay attention to keeping all expense vouchers during the treatment process, such as hospital bills, nursing agreements, etc., to facilitate accurate calculation of the amount of compensation. （2） In terms of property damage compensation, relevant evidence before and after the property loss, such as photos, purchase vouchers, etc., shall be collected in time to determine the loss situation and reasonable calculation method. （3） When compensation for mental damage is involved, attention should be paid to retaining evidence that can prove serious mental damage, such as psychological diagnosis. （4） As for the choice of compensation method, if the property can be restored to its original state, it is necessary to communicate with the infringer in a timely manner. Legal basis: Article 1179 of the Civil Code of the People's Republic of China, if anyone infringes upon another person and causes personal injury, he shall compensate for the reasonable expenses for treatment and rehabilitation, such as medical expenses, nursing expenses, transportation expenses, nutrition expenses, hospital board subsidies, as well as the reduced income due to missed work. If it causes disability, it shall also compensate for the cost of auxiliary equipment and disability compensation; If death is caused, funeral expenses and death compensation shall also be compensated.
