China's criminal law does not directly stipulate "good attitude to plead guilty".
Article 61 of the Criminal Law stipulates: "When a criminal is sentenced, he shall be sentenced according to the facts of the crime, the nature and circumstances of the crime, and the degree of harm to society, in accordance with the relevant provisions of this Law."
The second paragraph of Article 63 of the Criminal Law stipulates that "although the criminals do not have the circumstances of mitigated punishment as stipulated in this Law, they may, according to the special circumstances of the case and with the approval of the Supreme People's Court, be sentenced to a punishment below the statutory punishment."
Article 67 of the Criminal Law stipulates that: "Criminals who voluntarily surrender may be given a lighter or mitigated punishment. Among them, those who commit a lesser crime may be exempted from punishment... Although the criminal suspect does not have the circumstances of voluntary surrender specified in the preceding two paragraphs, he may be given a lighter punishment if he truthfully confesses his crime; those who truthfully confesses his crime to avoid particularly serious consequences may be given a mitigated punishment. ”
Article 68 of the Criminal Law stipulates: "If a criminal has performed meritorious service by exposing another person's criminal act, which is verified to be true, or by providing important clues so that other cases can be solved, he or she may be given a lighter or mitigated punishment; if he or she has performed major meritorious service, he or she may be given a mitigated or exempted punishment. If he or she voluntarily surrenders after committing a crime and performs major meritorious service, he or she shall be given a mitigated or exempted punishment."
