Today, Apple released the official version of iOS 6.1.3 firmware. The iOS 6.1.3 firmware has fixed the lock screen password vulnerability, and has also been officially fixed the vulnerability used in the perfect jailbreak in iOS versions before 6.1.2 (see the report). In short, the perfect jailbreak tool EvasiOn can no longer be jailbroken against iOS 6.1.3 firmware. Does this mean that EvasiOn has officially completed its mission and retired from the stage? Before Evad3rs, the prison break dream team, said something, everything had not been concluded! However, we can summarize the brilliant achievements of EvasiOn.

It has been 43 days since the Evad3rs team released the perfect jailbreak tool EvasiOn. EvasiOn can perform a perfect jailbreak against the firmware of iOS6. X system version, and once became a god worshipped by countless fans. The official version of iOS 6.1.3 firmware released by Apple today finally silenced the artifact. But EvasiOn has accomplished its historical mission very well. According to the information provided by Saurik, the father of Cydia, there have been 18.3 million independent iOS6. X devices installed with Cydia, including 13.8 million iPhones, 3.4 million iPads, and 1.1 million iPod touch. This is quite surprising data. I don't know. Are you among the 18.3 million iOS devices?

Although the Apple iOS 6.1.3 official firmware temporarily silenced the perfect jailbreak tool EvasiOn, the jailbreak team member Planetbeing has said that they still have an exploitable jailbreak vulnerability. However, Apple fans who expect the jailbreak team to quickly upgrade and update EvasiOn may fail to do so, because according to the iOS 6.1.3 bug repair instructions released by Apple, the official version of iOS 6.1.3 firmware has blocked four vulnerabilities used by EvasiOn's perfect jailbreak (see the figure below). Apple also generously "thanks" the prison break team Evad3rs in the vulnerability description, and "deeply" engraved their names on it!

On the other hand, the protracted war between Evad3rs, the jailbreak team, and Apple was also called a cat and mouse game by netizens. Planetbeing also said that the remaining vulnerabilities in his hands would not be used until there was a major update to the iOS system (iOS7?). At present, the official version of iOS 6.1.3 firmware can only be upgraded through OTA, and the version displayed in iTunes is still the official version of iOS 6.1.2. Apple who likes jailbreaking should not upgrade to iOS 6.1.3 firmware at a low price, otherwise it will be trapped in prison for a long time!
