Membrane materials used in membrane structure engineering include PVC membrane, PVDF membrane materials, PTFE membrane materials, ETFE membrane materials, etc. are briefly introduced below.
1、 PVC membrane
The fabric base material of PVC membrane material is polyester and polyamide fiber fabric.
The characteristics of PVC membrane material: within the shelf life, it has stable corrosion resistance, anti ultraviolet erosion ability, and strong self-cleaning ability on the surface; And the PVC membrane material has fire resistance, which is rated as Class B1 fire-resistant material in China;
PVC film material is a multi-layer functional composite material with strong creep resistance. In terms of price, PVC membrane material is relatively cheap and is the first choice for membrane structure shed at present.
2、 PVDF membrane material
PVDF membrane material is radiation resistant and mechanical vinylidene fluoride or copolymer of homopolymer and other fluorovinyl monomers.
Characteristics of PVDF film material: During the shelf life, because the material itself has the characteristics of resin and fluororesin, PVDF film material has good radiation resistance, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance.
PVDF membrane material is the second largest product in the production of fluoroplastics, and it is also a membrane material with high selection rate in the daily construction of membrane structure shed.
3、 PTFE membrane material
The fabric substrate of PTFE membrane material is glass fiber. Glass fiber is the strongest textile fabric, even stronger than steel wire of the same diameter. Therefore, the quality of PTFE membrane material is relatively good, and the cost will be very high.
4、 ETFE membrane material
ETFE membrane material is a transparent membrane material without fabric substrate. Its light transmission spectrum is similar to that of glass, which is also called "soft glass". Its component is ethylene tetrafluoroethylene copolymer, also known as F-40.
Features of ETFE film material: the light transmission spectrum of ETFE film material is basically the same as that of glass, and the ultraviolet ray penetration is extremely high, with good light transmission; ETFE membrane material has good thermal insulation performance, corrosion resistance and stability;
The ultimate tensile strength of ETFE membrane material is above 40MPa, and when it is below 20MPa, the membrane material presents an elastic state, with good tear resistance. ETFE membrane material can be recycled and re integrated even after its service life is exceeded, and can also be hot melted into granular raw materials, which, to a certain extent, is environmentally friendly.
