Epidemic situation of notifiable infectious diseases in Zhejiang Province in April 2024

In April 2024 (from 0:00 on April 1, 2024 to 24:00 on April 30, 2024), 88942 cases of notifiable infectious diseases were reported in the province, with 31 deaths.

Among them, no cases of morbidity or mortality were reported for Class A infectious diseases. Among Class B infectious diseases, SARS, poliomyelitis, human infection with highly pathogenic avian influenza, measles, encephalitis B, anthrax, epidemic cerebrospinal meningitis, diphtheria, neonatal tetanus, schistosomiasis, human infection with H7N9 avian influenza and monkeypox were reported without morbidity or mortality. In addition to new coronavirus infection, 39764 cases of other 15 Class B infectious diseases were reported with 31 deaths. The top five diseases reported were pertussis, viral hepatitis, syphilis, tuberculosis and gonorrhea, accounting for 99.02% of the total reported cases of Class B infectious diseases.

During the same period, 49178 cases of Class C infectious diseases were reported, and no deaths were reported. The top three diseases reported were influenza, other infectious diarrhea and hand foot mouth disease, accounting for 99.35% of the total reported cases of Class C infectious diseases.
