Epidemic situation of notifiable infectious diseases in Zhejiang Province in February 2024

In February 2024 (from 0:00 on February 1 to 24:00 on February 29, 2024), 279424 cases of notifiable infectious diseases were reported in the province, with 23 deaths.

Among them, no cases of morbidity or mortality were reported for Class A infectious diseases. Among Class B infectious diseases, SARS, poliomyelitis, human highly pathogenic avian influenza, measles, rabies, encephalitis B, anthrax, epidemic cerebrospinal meningitis, diphtheria, neonatal tetanus, leptospirosis, schistosomiasis and human H7N9 avian influenza were reported without morbidity or mortality. In addition to new coronavirus infection, 8611 cases of other 14 Class B infectious diseases were reported, 23 people were reported dead. The top five diseases reported were viral hepatitis, whooping cough, syphilis, tuberculosis and gonorrhea, accounting for 97.50% of the total reported cases of Class B infectious diseases.

During the same period, 270813 cases of Class C infectious diseases were reported, and no death was reported. The top three diseases reported were influenza, other infectious diarrhea and hand foot mouth disease, accounting for 99.95% of the total reported cases of Class C infectious diseases.
