Epidemic situation of notifiable infectious diseases in Zhejiang Province in December 2023

In December 2023 (from 0:00 on December 1, 2023 to 24:00 on December 31, 2023), 922192 cases of notifiable infectious diseases were reported in the province, with 51 deaths.

Among them, no cases of morbidity or mortality were reported for Class A infectious diseases. Among Class B infectious diseases, SARS, poliomyelitis, human highly pathogenic avian influenza, rabies, encephalitis B, anthrax, diphtheria, neonatal tetanus, schistosomiasis and human H7N9 avian influenza were reported without morbidity and mortality. In addition to the new coronavirus infection, 7901 cases of other 17 Class B infectious diseases were reported and 51 deaths were reported. The top five diseases reported were viral hepatitis, pulmonary tuberculosis, syphilis, gonorrhea and whooping cough, accounting for 94.44% of the total reported cases of Class B infectious diseases.

During the same period, 914291 cases of Class C infectious diseases were reported, and no deaths were reported. The top three diseases reported were influenza, other infectious diarrhea and hand foot mouth disease, accounting for 99.97% of the total reported cases of Class C infectious diseases.
