Office of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee Time: 2024-06-07 10:06

As the Dragon Boat Festival holiday is approaching, the Consulate General in Nagoya reminds Chinese citizens in the consular district to strengthen security precautions to ensure safety during the holiday:

1、 Putting personal safety first

Pay attention to the weather, traffic conditions, earthquake, rainstorm and other disaster warnings in the location and the region to be visited, try to avoid traveling in bad weather or peak traffic, and carefully go to places with dense population. If you choose to follow a group tour, please choose a travel agency with formal qualifications, and pay attention to the phone number of the tour guide, team leader, driver, hotel address, telephone and other information. Keep in touch with relatives and friends during travel.

2、 Property Safety Memory Room

Take care of personal belongings such as mobile phones, wallets, passports, and cards when checking in and checking out, handling tax refunds, taking public transportation, and sightseeing. Please take your passport, card and other important documents with you and keep a copy or scanned copy for backup. If you accidentally lose important items, please report to the nearest police station in time and keep the alarm certificate. If you cannot find the lost passport, you can download the "Chinese Consul" APP to apply for travel documents. We should strengthen the screening of unfamiliar calls from people claiming to be from domestic public security organs, procuratorates and law enforcement agencies, and staff of embassies and consulates abroad. We should not disclose important personal information on the phone, or transfer money or remit money.

3、 Civilized travel companion

Enhance the awareness of civilized tourism, abide by Japanese laws and regulations, customs and social order, do not make loud noises, do not jump in the queue at will, do not litter, and do not smoke in non-smoking places. If you think you encounter unfair treatment, please protect your rights rationally and pay attention to collecting and preserving relevant evidence.

In case of emergency, please report to the Japanese police in time and contact the Consulate General for help.
