CAMCE News (Worker's Daily - CAMCE reporter Zhang Qiang, correspondent Yang Zhiqiang) Recently, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security issued the Notice on Establishing the Working Mechanism of National Key Contact Cities for Industrial Injury Rehabilitation, announcing the first batch of 31 national key contact cities for industrial injury rehabilitation, and Qingdao, Shandong, was successfully selected. It is understood that in January 2023, Qingdao will create the first injury care service system based on supplementary industrial injury insurance in the country to solve the difficulties and pain points of industrial injury insurance and improve the quality of life of the disabled.
In Qingdao, there are more than 1200 workers with work-related injuries of Grade I to Grade IV, namely, disabled persons with work-related injuries. According to the actual situation, more than 600 disabled persons with work-related injuries who need continuous treatment are provided with high-quality injury and rehabilitation services that combine inpatient injury and rehabilitation services with home injury and rehabilitation services. The supplementary work-related injury insurance provides a subsidy of 1000 yuan or 300 yuan per month for the injury and rehabilitation costs borne by the disabled persons with work-related injuries, relieving their economic pressure. At present, a total of 367 people in the city enjoy rehabilitation services, providing a "Qingdao model" for providing high-quality services to more than 200000 work-related disabled people in the country.
It is reported that by the end of 2027, Qingdao plans to establish an industrial injury rehabilitation system based on medical rehabilitation, with occupational rehabilitation as the core, social rehabilitation as the link, and reemployment support as the extension. Establish and improve a scientific, reasonable, rigorous, orderly, high-quality and efficient industrial injury rehabilitation management service system to help injured workers return to society, families and jobs. At the same time, we will continue to improve the effectiveness of industrial injury rehabilitation and the spread and influence of the protection of the rights and interests of injured workers.
