Quanzhou Evening News (Wang Jinzhi, a journalist from the media): The Treasure of Motherly Love - Guizhou Ethnic Minority Backfans Exhibition has been exhibited in Quanzhou Museum for several days, attracting many citizens and tourists to visit the exhibition to feel their mothers' selfless love for their children, their quiet love for weaving, embroidery and dyeing, and their love for the inheritance of beautiful clothes.

The back fan is a "swaddling cloth" for carrying children, commonly known as the "back belt". It is an important daily necessities for working women of Guizhou ethnic minorities. The production process is complex, and the techniques include embroidery, cross stitch, batik, brocade, cloth stickers, etc. Due to the different living environment, history and culture of all ethnic groups in Guizhou, the artistic form and cultural connotation of the back fan are different, so the back fan art with different styles and colors has been formed.

Focusing on the theme of motherly love, this exhibition displays the fine works of Guizhou ethnic minority fans from a delicate emotional and artistic perspective. For the first time, the exhibition focused on more than 150 back fans and children's clothing collected by the Guizhou Provincial Museum of Nationalities, including more than 80 back fans. From the time span, through the exhibits from the Qing Dynasty to the contemporary era, the exhibition shows the crystallization of maternal love of many ethnic groups over a century; From the space span, through the back fans of various regions and ethnic groups throughout the province, Guizhou's rich and diverse textile embroidery and dyeing skills are displayed; From the depth of emotion, the ancient poems with the theme of maternal love are used as a series of units, together with specially designed art installations, to interpret the profound maternal love culture of the Chinese nation.

"The embroidery technique in the back fan shows the mother's magical creativity." Ms. Lin, a citizen, specially brought her children to see the exhibition. She said that the back fan is the crystallization of the wisdom of Guizhou minority women, and each piece embodies the mother's selfless love and pursuit of beauty.

It is understood that the exhibition will last until May 26.
