Xinhua News Agency, Paris, May 6 (warm reporter Zhang Baihui) On the afternoon of May 6 local time, Peng Liyuan, wife of President Xi Jinping, was invited to visit the Musee d'Orsay in Paris with Brigitte, wife of French President Malcolm.

Bridget greeted Peng Liyuan warmly at the entrance of the museum. The wives of the two heads of state walked into the museum to watch the theme exhibition "Paris 1874, Creating Impressionism" and the museum's fine oil painting exhibition. From time to time, the two people stopped to carefully appreciate the impressionist classic works created by the famous painters Monet, Van Gogh, Renoir and so on, and exchange feelings with each other.

Peng Liyuan said that the people of China and France both love painting art very much and hope that both sides can carry out more exchanges to let the people of both countries feel more about each other's cultural charm and deepen mutual understanding. It is hoped that the artists of the two countries will strengthen exchanges and mutual learning, inspire each other and create more exquisite works of art.

In the museum hall, the wives of the two heads of state exchanged cordially with French students who were visiting and studying. Students shared their experience of learning Chinese and expressed their love for Chinese culture. Peng Liyuan encourages everyone to make efforts to learn Chinese well, have the opportunity to go to China to exchange and study, go more, see, and feel the real and three-dimensional China. I hope that students will become small messengers of China France friendship, build bridges between the people of the two countries, and let the friendship between China and France be passed down from generation to generation.

The Musee d'Orsay is the national museum of France, which was built in 1986 and has the richest collection of impressionists and post impressionists in the world.
