Gaohuai Village, located in Jingyang District, Deyang City, Sichuan Province, was still a poor village in 2014. By introducing the coffee industry to drive the economy, the whole village was lifted out of poverty in 2016, but later fell into a development dilemma due to industrial homogenization. A few years later, today's Gaohuai Village has achieved a magnificent transformation from a coffee village to a cultural and creative town. It is not only a beautiful and livable demonstration village in China, but also a well-known online red card punching place. How did all this happen?

As one of the first batch of new farmers who came to Gaohuai Village in 2012, Hu Rong witnessed the development of Gaohuai Village over the years. She smiled and said to the reporter, "When I first came here, there were no street lights. In recent years, the basic facilities in the village have become better and better."

In 2014, Hu Rong opened the first rural coffee shop in Gaohuai Village, which is called "Not Far Coffee". "At that time, the business of the coffee shop was very good. After we opened, the village opened many stores continuously." Hu Rong recalled, "After two years, the homogenization became more and more serious, and many stores were not visited. We were thinking about how to transform. So in 2017, I brought plant dyeing from the city to the small yard in the countryside, which was very popular, and many people came to experience handcrafting. " Hu Rong's identity has thus become the manager of Ranyun Mountain House Plant Dye Life House.

From pure coffee to the symbol of literature, art, and creativity." Hu Rong told the reporter that she thought Gaohuai Village had a particularly good place, It means "its vitality is spontaneous".

"We are the first batch of new farmers to come here. Our idea is to live here, live here, and integrate into the village. We will do better according to our ideal rural life," Hu Rong said. (Reporter Deng Hao Yu Hezhang)
