We should thoroughly study and implement the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping and the spirit of the Twentieth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, solidly promote the cause of national unity and progress, and guide the people of all ethnic groups to firmly establish the community concept of sharing weal and woe, sharing weal and woe, sharing life and death, and sharing destiny.
Hold high the banner of great unity of the Chinese nation. The great unity of the Chinese nation is the prerequisite and foundation for comprehensively promoting the construction of a strong country and the great cause of national rejuvenation with Chinese style modernization. To build a strong sense of the community of the Chinese nation, we must hold high the banner of the great unity of the Chinese nation and make it an important task of the Party's national work in the new journey to promote the common struggle of all ethnic groups for the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country. We should promote the mobility and integration of people of all ethnic groups, build an embedded social structure and community environment, and create social conditions for people of all ethnic groups to live and learn together, build and share together, and work and enjoy together. Fully consider the reality of different ethnic groups and regions, coordinate the layout planning of urban and rural construction and allocation of public service resources, improve policies and measures, create an environmental atmosphere, and gradually realize the all-round embedding of all ethnic groups in space, culture, economy, society, psychology, etc. Adhere to and improve the system of regional ethnic autonomy, improve the system of ethnic policies, laws and regulations, and promote the modernization of the governance system and capacity for ethnic affairs.
We will promote high-quality development in ethnic minority areas. Development is the basis and key to solving all our problems. To build a strong sense of community of the Chinese nation, we must adhere to accelerating the economic and social development of ethnic minorities and ethnic areas as the fundamental way to solve national problems. It is necessary to focus on the central task of economic construction and the primary task of high-quality development, fully, accurately and comprehensively implement the new development concept, put forward work guidelines and strategic deployment in view of the actual development of ethnic minorities and ethnic minority areas, and support the development of ethnic minorities and ethnic minority areas from policies, funds, talents, technology and other aspects. In the process of development, we will pay more attention to ensuring and improving people's wellbeing, complement the shortcomings of people's wellbeing, and improve people's wellbeing, so that people of all ethnic groups can truly feel that promoting common prosperity is in action and at their side.
Build a common spiritual home for the Chinese nation. Culture is the soul of a nation. Throughout the development of the Chinese nation from history to the future, from tradition to modernity, from pluralism to cohesion, cultural identity has always been the root of national unity. To build a strong sense of community of the Chinese nation, we must insist that cultural identity is the deepest identity and build a common spiritual home for the Chinese nation. We should speed up the construction of an expression system for the characteristics of Chinese culture, the spirit of the Chinese nation, and the image of the Chinese nation, establish and highlight the symbols of Chinese culture and the image of the Chinese nation shared by all ethnic groups, and enhance the recognition of Chinese culture among the people of all ethnic groups. We will strengthen the education of modern civilization, deepen the implementation of such projects as the creation of civilization, the construction of civic morality, and the cultivation of new people for the times, and guide the people of all ethnic groups to move forward towards modernization in their ideas, spiritual interests, and lifestyles. We will comprehensively strengthen education in the language commonly used by countries in ethnic minority areas. At the same time, we will scientifically protect the language of all ethnic groups, and use language to promote spiritual and destiny communication.
Consolidate the foundation for the sustainable development of the Chinese nation. Ethnic minority areas are rich in resources, headwaters of rivers and ecological barriers in China, with complex geology and landform, rich natural resources and diverse climate types. To build a strong sense of community of the Chinese nation, we must protect the nature and ecological environment as we protect the eyes, and consolidate the ecological foundation for the sustainable development of the Chinese nation. It is necessary to combine the reality of resource endowments, development conditions and comparative advantages of ethnic minority areas, promote the overall green transformation of economic and social development, explore new paths for coordinated development and protection, and provide more high-quality ecological products to meet the growing needs of people for beautiful ecological environment. Promote the modernization of the governance system and capacity in the field of ecological environment from the source, improve the urban and rural landscape of ethnic minority areas, support high-quality development of ethnic minority areas with high-quality ecological environment, and jointly write a new chapter in the construction of the Chinese national community.
