Introduction:

On January 24, Beijing time, Clay Thompson made this day a memorable day in the history of the NBA. In the game between the Warriors and the Kings, Thompson scored 37 points in the third quarter, shooting 13 of 13 shots in a single quarter, including 9 of the three-point shots, breaking the NBA record. The previous single quarter scoring record was 33 points jointly held by Carmelo Anthony (2008) and George Gerwin (1978).

Thompson made 16 of 25 shots, 11 of 15 three-point shots and 9 of 10 free throws in less than 33 minutes of playing time. He scored 52 points in total, setting a personal record for scoring in a single game and helping the Warriors win 126-101 against the King.
