Born for AI acceleration, the 5th generation Xeon scalable processor launches

Column: press conference | content validity

Following the release of the fourth generation Xeon scalable processors at the beginning of the year, Intel once again presented a big gift to the data center field on December 15: the fifth generation Intel Xeon scalable processors, code named Emerald Rapids. Compared with the previous generation, the fifth generation Intel Xeon scalable processors can provide higher computing power and faster memory within the same thermal design power consumption (TDP) range. The fifth generation Xeon scalable processor has outstanding performance in improving the performance per watt of key workloads such as artificial intelligence, scientific computing, network, storage, database, security, and reducing the total cost of ownership (TCO). It is a new generation of server CPU for AI acceleration.
