Boston University Open Course: Bioaerodynamics
Welcome to the course after 5 episodes of translation

Lecturer: Lorena A Barba -Associate professor of the School of Power Engineering, Boston University, and doctor of California Institute of Technology. His research fields include fluid dynamics, new computer architecture, high-speed and efficient algorithm development, particle based fluid simulation, etc.

College introduction: Founded in 1839, Boston University is the third largest private university in the United States.

Course introduction: This course applies the functions available in the biological world to industrial design through examples, aiming to stimulate the further development of bioengineering discipline. This lesson focuses in particular on examples of aerodynamics, which include the following increasingly complex forms: falling, parachuting, gliding and flying.
