The Second National Rural Revitalization Vocational Skills Competition closed

Our newspaper, Guiyang, May 10 (Li Guijie and Li Yajuan, reporters of China Youth Daily and China Youth Network) On May 10, the second National Rural Revitalization Vocational Skills Competition closed in Guiyang, Guizhou Province. The competition attracted 701 contestants from all provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps to participate, 494 of whom were born after 1995, accounting for 70%.

The theme of this competition is "Exhibition of Skills to Promote Rural Revitalization". Focusing on practical skills in rural areas, 11 competition items are set up, including masonry, automobile maintenance, agricultural machinery repair, electrician, hairdressing, elderly care, infant care, Chinese pastry, restaurant service, e-commerce, and tea art. Each competition event has a staff group and a student group, with gold, silver, bronze medals and winners' prizes. The top three players in the staff group will be recommended to be awarded the title of "National Technical Expert".

Xia Zihan, a student of Jiangsu Suqian Technician College, participated in the e-commerce project competition. She said: "Many young people choose e-commerce now because they feel that their future career development is promising. I hope that more people will understand rural e-commerce and make contributions to rural development for young people." Shi Yingfeng, assistant to the chief judge of the e-commerce project of the Second National Rural Revitalization Vocational Skills Competition, said: "The age of the student group of e-commerce competition is about 20 years old, and the age of the staff group is also dropping, and this year it is about 23 years old. At present, the enrollment and employment of e-commerce majors in all vocational colleges are very popular. We hope that the competition can promote training through competition and better serve teaching. "

Wang Xiaojun, deputy director of the Department of Vocational Capacity Building of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and a first level inspector, said that the implementation process of the competition can drive a large number of people to participate in the corresponding skills training, improve their professional quality and employability, and at the same time drive the work related to talent training, evaluation and incentive, promote the growth of young skilled talents, and better realize employment and entrepreneurship.
