Guangming Daily, Beijing, April 12 (reporter Qiu Yue) In order to promote the implementation of rural construction action and master the construction of villages across the country, the General Office of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development recently issued a notice requiring all regions to do a good job in the statistical survey of village construction across the country this year, which should be completed before May 31.
The notice clearly stated that the deadline for survey data was December 31, 2023, and the statistical scope was all administrative villages in the country. The statistical content includes village overview, population economy, housing construction, infrastructure, public environment, construction management, etc., as well as photos reflecting the village style.
The notice requires that the county-level housing and urban-rural development department guide the township (town) and administrative village to arrange investigators to conduct on-site investigation. The local housing and urban construction departments at all levels should coordinate, organize meticulously, do a good job in data submission and review, ensure that data submission is timely, complete and accurate, and resolutely prevent and punish data fraud and fraud. Among them, the provincial housing and urban and rural construction department is responsible for the statistical survey of village construction in the region. Mobilization training should be carried out as soon as possible, and cities and counties should be organized to promote the survey. The municipal housing and urban-rural construction department should regularly track and report the investigation work of the local counties (cities, districts, banners) to speed up the investigation progress. The county-level housing and urban and rural construction department should assign special personnel to coordinate and promote the investigation, distribute training materials to investigators in time, organize staff to provide on-site guidance, coordinate and solve the difficulties and problems in the investigation, and correct the problems such as the deviation of indicator understanding and the lack of detail in the investigation in a timely manner.
The notice stressed that local housing and urban construction departments at all levels should carefully analyze the statistical survey data of village construction, do a good job in data sharing, and play the role of statistical surveys in serving rural construction decisions, formulating rural construction policies, and planning rural construction projects. The statistical survey data of the national village construction will be used as the basic data for the evaluation of rural construction.
