Day 1

Baitashan Zhongshan Bridge Shuiche Park is located in the "Yellow River style" of Lanzhou City On or near the line, you can walk everywhere, so you can finish the tour in about half a day. After visiting the Waterwheel Park, you can walk for about 20 minutes to Dazhong Lane in Zhangye Road, the most prosperous business district in Lanzhou. There are a lot of delicious food here, and lunch can be served here. One kilometer away from Zhangye Road is the largest mosque in Lanzhou - Xiguan Mosque, which is a highlight of Lanzhou city. Women can also visit it. Baitashan Park

Baita Mountain Park is located in the north of Lanzhou City, Gansu Province. It is named after a Baita Temple on the top of the mountain. The temple was built in the Yuan Dynasty and rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty. The plane of the temple is rectangular, the white tower is in the middle, the tower body is eight sides and seven levels, about 17 meters high, with a green top on the top and a round base on the bottom. The whole body is white, straight and beautiful. To the south of the tower are the three major temple buildings, to the north is the Zhunti Bodhisattva Hall, and there are several side halls in the east and west. Climbing the top of the White Pagoda, you can overlook the city of Lanzhou. It combines exquisite architectural structure and exquisite carving art, fully demonstrating the wisdom and artistic creativity of the ancient working people. It is a masterpiece of ancient architecture in China. The White Pagoda and the iron bridge on the Yellow River form a magnificent picture and become one of the symbols of Lanzhou City. Baita Mountain is densely forested and winding. You can not only climb the mountain to exercise, but also stand on the mountain to have a panoramic view of the city landscape and the mother river. Transportation: The routes of Baitashan Park can be divided into the following three types: 1 Take bus No.20, No.35, No.53, No.131 to Baitashan Park Station, and get off at the destination. 2. You can also take No. 9, 11, 15, 26, 34, 136 buses to the Yellow River Railway Bridge Station to enjoy the beautiful scenery on both sides of the Yellow River, and then walk across the Yellow River Railway Bridge. 3. Take No. 1, 6, 4, 75, 106, 107, 113, 137 and other buses to Xiguanshizi, the most prosperous business district in Lanzhou. It only takes 15 minutes to walk north to Baita Mountain Park.

Zhongshan Bridge

Zhongshan Bridge, an iron bridge across the Yellow River, is located in Chengguan District, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province. It was built in 1907 (the 33rd year of Guangxu's reign in the Qing Dynasty). It was initially named "Lanzhou Yellow River Iron Bridge" and later renamed "Zhongshan Bridge". All bridge building materials were transported from Germany to Tianjin by sea in the 33rd year of Guangxu (1907), and then transferred from Tianjin to Lanzhou by the Gansu Westernization Bureau. The engineers who built the bridge were Man Baoben, an American, and De Luo, a German. The construction leader was Liu Yongqi, a Tianjin native. The construction personnel are mainly 69 foreign workers and Chinese craftsmen employed by German merchants. It took 3 years to complete. The cost is more than 36000 taels of silver. It is called "the first bridge of the Yellow River in the world". Zhongshan Iron Bridge is 234 meters long and 7.5 meters wide. In old China, it was listed as the three major bridges on the Yellow River along with Jinan Daokou Iron Bridge and Zhengzhou Iron Bridge. In 1942, it was renamed Zhongshan Bridge in memory of Dr. Sun Yat sen and has been used since then.
