Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other four departments announced the first batch of pilot consortia for access and road access to ICVs. The consortium consists of 9 automobile enterprises and 9 related users. The relevant access and pilot projects will be launched in 7 cities, including Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen. The pilot products cover passenger cars, buses and trucks.

With the continuous improvement of relevant technologies, investors are more optimistic about the future of ICV. According to Tianyan's data, up to now, there are more than 9800 enterprises related to ICV in China, including more than 180 newly registered enterprises from January to May this year.

ICV is an important strategic direction for the development of the automobile industry, and the innovation, promotion and application of related technologies are always on the way. According to relevant data, as of the end of April this year, China has opened more than 29000 kilometers of test roads for ICV, issued more than 6800 test demonstration licenses, and the total road test mileage has exceeded 88 million kilometers. Some products have met certain conditions for mass production applications.

However, the development of ICV is not isolated, but complements the development of intelligent transportation system. The intelligent transportation system includes transportation, service control and vehicle manufacturing. In other words, ICV is a component and basic unit of the intelligent transportation system and smart city system. In other words, if we want to promote the further development of ICV, we must constantly improve and perfect the intelligent transportation system, and improve the economic efficiency as well as the social efficiency.
