Enrolment Guide for Postgraduates in 2023
Changchun Institute of Biological Products (hereinafter referred to as Changchun Institute of Biological Products) was founded in 1946, integrating production, research and development, education and sales. Its predecessor was Northeast Health Technology General Factory (the former Changchun Institute of Biological Products of the Ministry of Health), and it has a history of 75 years. It is a master's degree awarding unit approved by the State Council, a postdoctoral research station approved by the Ministry of Personnel of the People's Republic of China. The Chinese Journal of Biological Products is the only professional academic journal of biological products in China, and also a national core journal. Changchun Institute of Biology has been engaged in the research and development of vaccines since the 1950s, and the research and development of genetically engineered recombinant drugs since the 1980s. As a national key biopharmaceutical backbone enterprise, it has successively undertaken the national "key research plan", 863 plan, torch plan, new drug research fund, national science and technology major projects, etc. It has won 63 national awards and achievements and 108 provincial awards and achievements. It has obtained 14 national invention patents and 1 international invention patent.
Changchun Institute of Biology is producing 21 product numbers, mainly covering vaccine, therapeutic products and diagnostic reagents. Vaccine products include influenza virus split vaccine, tetravalent influenza virus split vaccine, live attenuated varicella vaccine, freeze-dried live attenuated hepatitis A vaccine, bivalent inactivated hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome vaccine, and inactivated forest encephalitis vaccine; The treatment products mainly include 14 kinds of interferon series products; The diagnostic products mainly include COVID-19 nucleic acid test kit, cervical cancer DNA methylation test kit and multiple respiratory pathogen nucleic acid test kit, among which COVID-19 nucleic acid test kit is the first batch of products to obtain production registration certificate in China.
Changchun Institute of Biology has three R&D systems: genetic engineering drug R&D technology system, vaccine R&D technology system and immunological diagnostic reagent R&D technology system. Six technical platforms: gene recombination prokaryotic and eukaryotic cell expression technology platform, mammalian cell bioreactor large-scale culture technology platform, biological macromolecule separation and purification technology platform, pharmaceutical preparation development technology platform, quality standard establishment technology platform and immunological diagnostic preparation development technology platform. On this basis, a variety of new vaccines and therapeutic products have been developed.
In 1990, Changchun Institute of Biology was approved by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council as a master's degree awarding unit in the application process of the fourth batch of master's degree programs, and approved as a master's degree awarding point in immunology. In 2000, it was approved by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council as a master's degree awarding point in pathogenic biology in the application process of the eighth batch of master's degree programs. In 2001, it was approved by the Ministry of Personnel as an "enterprise postdoctoral research station" In September 2002, it jointly applied with Jilin University and was approved by the Ministry of Education as the "National Life Science and Technology Talent Training Base" to jointly cultivate doctoral and master's degree students. In the dynamic adjustment of the degree in 2019, it was adjusted to the first level discipline of pharmacy authorized by the master's degree.
Changchun Institute of Biology has complete experimental conditions, sufficient scientific research funds and unique conditions for cultivating graduate students. The main research and development direction of the project is the development of recombinant drugs, new vaccines and diagnostic preparations. The main equipment of the laboratory includes: mass spectrometer, capillary electrophoresis, fermentation tanks of different specifications, bioreactors of different specifications, analytical and preparative high performance liquid chromatography systems, biochemical analyzers, full-automatic protein purification systems, ultraviolet spectrophotometer, various types of centrifuges, DNA amplification instrument, cell electrotransformation instrument, gel imaging analysis system, ultralow temperature refrigerator, small freeze dryer, shakers of different specifications, cell counter and high-pressure homogenizer, and other domestic and foreign high-end instruments or equipment.
The relevant information about our enrollment of graduate students for master's degree in 2023 is as follows:
1、 Enrollment plan:
In 2023, Changchun Institute of Biology will enroll a total of 10 academic postgraduates of "pharmacy" specialty, with a three-year educational system, full-time training, and the training costs will be borne by the unit. In the first year, the basic courses were jointly cultivated in Changchun University of Science and Technology, and in the second and third years, they were cultivated in Changchun Institute of Biological Products.
2、 Application conditions:
The following requirements shall be met when applying for the national unified entrance examination:
1. Support the leadership of the Communist Party of China, be willing to serve the socialist modernization drive, have good moral character, and abide by laws and disciplines.
2. Candidates' educational background and requirements must meet one of the following conditions:
(1) Undergraduate graduates of new ordinary colleges and universities with nationally recognized academic qualifications (must obtain the undergraduate diploma and degree certificate before September 1 of the year when they are admitted).
(2) Those who have a bachelor's degree in a national recognized ordinary university and have obtained a bachelor's degree certificate and degree certificate are not new graduates.
3. The physical condition meets the physical examination requirements of the state and our institute.
4. In principle, only candidates from medical, biochemical, biological, pharmaceutical and related majors are accepted.
3、 Registration stage
Registration includes online registration and online confirmation (on-site confirmation). All candidates who take part in the postgraduate entrance examination must register online, and confirm online reporting information and collect their own images and other relevant electronic information online or at the site of the application site, and pay the application fee as required.
In principle, fresh undergraduate graduates should choose the registration point designated by the provincial education recruitment and examination institution where the school is located to handle online registration and online confirmation (on-site confirmation) procedures; Individual examinees should choose the registration point designated by the provincial education recruitment and examination institution where the enrollment unit is located to handle online registration and online confirmation (on-site confirmation) procedures; Other candidates (including candidates for business administration, public administration, tourism management, engineering management and other professional degrees) should choose the registration point designated by the provincial education, enrollment and examination institution where their jobs or residence are located to handle online registration and online confirmation (on-site confirmation) procedures.
The technical service of online registration is in the charge of the National University Student Information Consulting and Employment Guidance Center. Online confirmation (on-site confirmation) shall be organized by the provincial education enrollment and examination institution to conduct relevant registration points.
The staff of the registration point shall notify the public security organ and cooperate with the public security organ to temporarily detain the relevant certificates when they find that the examinee has forged certificates.
4、 Online registration requirements
1. Online registration time
The online forecast name is from September 24 to September 27, 2022, from 9:00 to 22:00 every day.
The online registration time is 9:00-22:00 from October 5 to October 25, 2022.
2. Registration process
(1) Candidates should log in to the "China Postgraduate Enrollment Information Network" (public website: http://yz.chsi.com.cn, education website: http://yz.chsi.cn , hereinafter referred to as "Research Recruitment Network"), browse the application instructions, and apply according to the online announcement requirements of the Ministry of Education, provincial education recruitment and examination institutions, application sites and application units. During the registration period, the examinee can modify the online registration information or fill in the registration information again, but one examinee can only keep one valid registration information. The registration information shall not be modified after the deadline.
(2) Candidates can only fill in one major of one enrollment unit when registering. After the end of the exam, the Ministry of Education announces the basic requirements for the examinees to enter the re exam, the examinees can learn about the adjustment methods of the enrollment units, the planned balance and other information through the "Research Recruitment Network" adjustment service system, and fill in multiple adjustment volunteers in parallel many times according to relevant regulations.
(3) Those who apply for the examination with the same academic qualification shall truthfully fill in the learning situation and provide authentic materials according to the requirements of the school.
(4) Candidates should accurately fill in the rewards and punishments they have received, especially the punishments they have received for violation of discipline and cheating in the national education examinations such as the entrance examinations for ordinary and adult colleges and universities, the national postgraduate entrance examinations, and the self-study examinations for higher education. Those who practice fraud will be dealt with seriously in accordance with the Measures for Handling Violations of National Education Examination and the Interim Measures for Handling Violations of Enrollment of Ordinary Colleges and Universities.
(5) During the registration period, online verification will be performed on the examinee's education (student status) information, and the examinee can view the verification results of education (student status) online. Candidates can also log into the "China Higher Education Student Information Network" (website: http://www.chsi.com.cn ）Query your education (student status) information.
Candidates who fail to pass the online verification of academic qualifications (student status) shall complete the verification of academic qualifications (student status) within the time specified by the school.
(6) Candidates should carefully understand and choose to fill in the application form in strict accordance with the application conditions and relevant policy requirements. If subsequent on-site confirmation, examination, reexamination or admission cannot be carried out due to non-compliance with the application conditions and relevant policy requirements, the consequences shall be borne by the examinee himself.
(7) Candidates should accurately fill in their online registration information and provide authentic materials as required. If the examinee is unable to take the exam, retest or enroll due to the wrong or false information filled in the online report, the consequences shall be borne by the examinee himself.
For specific requirements and precautions related to online registration, see the Administrative Regulations on the Enrollment of National Postgraduates in 2023 (already published on the official website of the Ministry of Education www.moe.edu.cn) and the application instructions of the "Research Recruitment Website". It is suggested that the majority of examinees should reasonably arrange the registration time, avoid the peak at the beginning and end of registration, and avoid network congestion.
3. Site confirmation procedure
(1) All examinees (excluding those who have been exempted) should check their online registration information at the designated place of the registration point within the specified time. The time of online confirmation (on-site confirmation) shall be determined and announced by each provincial education enrollment and examination institution according to the national enrollment work arrangement and the local application organization.
(2) For online confirmation (on-site confirmation), candidates shall submit their resident ID cards, academic degree certificates (new undergraduate graduates hold student cards) and online registration numbers, which shall be checked by the staff of the registration point. Candidates who apply for the master's enrollment plan of "retired college student soldiers" shall also submit their "Approval for enlistment" and "Retirement Certificate".
(3) All candidates should carefully check and confirm their online registration information. The registration information will not be modified after being confirmed by the examinee, and all consequences caused by the examinee's filling errors will be borne by him/herself.
(4) Candidates shall pay registration fees as required.
(5) Candidates should cooperate in collecting their own images and other relevant electronic information according to the provisions of the registration site.
4. Candidates must sign the "Letter of Commitment on Good Faith Examination of Candidates" and comply with relevant agreements and requirements when registering.
5、 Examinee qualification examination:
Candidates should comply with the relevant provisions of the state for postgraduate study. After reviewing the online application information of candidates, they will be issued with admission cards for those who meet the application conditions, and the original application materials such as the candidate's academic certificate and the candidate's qualifications will be reviewed again during the retest (new graduates will review the academic certificate and degree certificate when registering). Anyone who practices fraud will be disqualified for admission in accordance with relevant regulations once verified at any time.
6、 Preliminary test
The initial examination time of the national postgraduate entrance examination in 2023 will be from December 24 to 25, 2022 (8:30-11:30 a.m. and 14:00-17:00 p.m. every day). The examination for subjects over 3 hours will be held on December 26 (the starting time is 8:30, and the deadline is determined by the enrollment unit, not exceeding 14:30).
The examination time is subject to Beijing time. The state will not recognize any postgraduate entrance examination that is not held on the specified date.

7、 Retest:
In accordance with the principle of "comprehensive measurement, quality assurance, scientific selection, merit based admission, and preference for lack over abuse", candidates who have reached the national level in the preliminary examination will be given a competitive re examination. The time, place, subject and method of the second interview are determined by our institute, and the methods and procedures of the second interview will be published on our website and the research recruitment website.
8、 Physical examination:
Candidates should go to the designated Grade III Grade A or above (including Grade III Grade A) hospital for physical examination as required during the re examination. Specific requirements will be notified when retesting. The Institute is engaged in the pharmaceutical industry of biological products. The physical examination of each enrolled student must meet the physical examination requirements of the Guiding Opinions on Physical Examination for Enrollment of Ordinary Colleges and Universities formulated by the Ministry of Education, the Health Commission and the China Disabled Persons' Federation. At the same time, their health conditions must also meet the relevant provisions of the Good Manufacturing Practice for Drugs (2010), Those who suffer from infectious diseases, skin diseases, skin injuries and have potential adverse effects on the quality of biological products will not be admitted.
9、 Admission:
The enrollment list shall be determined according to the examinee's entrance examination results (including the initial and second examinations) and in combination with their usual academic performance, ideological and political performance, professional quality and physical health. Those who fail to pass the ideological and moral assessment will not be admitted.
10、 Treatment:
Benefits include grants and scholarships. Scholarships include general scholarships and academic scholarships. The standard of grant is 1600 yuan per student per month; Postgraduate tuition is deducted by Changchun Institute of Biology in the form of ordinary scholarship. Postgraduates will no longer pay tuition fees to reduce students' economic burden; There are three levels of academic scholarship (12000 yuan/year for the first scholarship, 6000 yuan/year for the second scholarship, and 3000 yuan/year for the third scholarship).
The accommodation fees for the first year of joint training in Changchun University of Science and Technology shall be paid by the students themselves, and the rest two years shall be provided with free accommodation by our institute. Breakfast, lunch and dinner for overtime work on weekdays and holidays shall be free, and the employees of our institute can enjoy the same benefits.
