A few days ago, five students from Tiantai Yuying Middle School were selected into the "Zhejiang Good People List" in January for their heroic deeds in saving people in icy water in the recommendation and selection activity of "Finding the Most Beautiful Zhejiang People - Zhejiang Good People List" jointly carried out by Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee Propaganda Department, Zhejiang Provincial Civilization Office and other units.

At 4:30 p.m. on December 12, 2017, at the Shifengxi Water Training Base in Tiantai County, five canoeists from Yuying Middle School, with an average age of less than 18, rescued an old man who had accidentally fallen into the water, regardless of the icy river and the danger of the dragon boat overturning, and spread warmth for the winter Tiantai City. These brave volunteers are also called "the most beautiful student team" and "the most beautiful post-00s" by netizens. Li Hongdian, Pang Wei, Wang Aixuan, Fan Shunchao and Jin Yini, these five students, with their practical actions, fulfilled the requirements of "young people in the new era should have ideals, skills and responsibilities" put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping in the report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and interpreted the "truth, goodness and beauty" of contemporary students. The recommendation and selection activity of "Finding the Most Beautiful Zhejiang People -- Zhejiang Good People List" was jointly carried out by the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Civilization Office, and Zhejiang Daily Newspaper Group. Since 2014, it has been selected for the whole province. It is divided into six categories, namely, helping others, being brave, honest, trustworthy, dedicated, filial, loving relatives, and diligent and thrifty. The selection is conducted once a month. The activity aims to vigorously cultivate and promote socialist core values, actively popularize and practice the common values of contemporary Zhejiang people, deeply explore and discover "the most beautiful Zhejiang people", and promote "the most beautiful" from "bonsai" to "scenery" and from "scenery" to "fashion".
