To comprehensively promote the rule of law, we must adhere to strict law enforcement. The vitality of law lies in its implementation. If there are laws and they are not implemented, or they are not implemented effectively, and the laws are not observed, enforced strictly, and the violations are not investigated, no amount of laws will help. In ancient China, there was an allusion of moving wood to build a letter. It said that Shang Yang had reformed in the Qin State during the Warring States Period. In order to win the trust of the people, he sent people to erect a tree in the city, saying who could move the tree to the city gate and reward ten gold coins. One piece of wood can get ten gold coins. No one believed it. Later, the reward was increased to fifty gold coins. Someone tried to move the wood to the city gate and got fifty gold coins. This means keeping your word. Now, many problems occur in our social life, some of which are due to insufficient legislation and unfounded norms, but more of which are due to non-compliance with the law, loss of regulation and even abuse of power for personal gain, abuse of law for personal gain, and destruction of the rule of law.
