The Beijing Tianjin Taiwan Federation held a cultural seminar for young and middle-aged Taiwanese and a cultural afternoon tea event in May in Tianjin to promote Chinese culture and realize the achievements of Chinese style modernization

On the first anniversary of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech of "May 12", from May 10 to 11, the Taiwan Federation of Beijing and Tianjin held the "Promoting Chinese Culture and Comprehending the Achievements of Chinese Modernization" two Taiwan Provincial Youth and Middle aged Cultural Study Societies in Tianjin and the May cultural afternoon tea event. Fei Wei, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Tianjin Taiwan Federation, and Lv Xiaoliang, President Hong Zhiliang, Vice President, Cao Yuliang, Su Wei, Full time Vice President of Beijing Taiwan Federation, and relevant leaders attended. More than 60 Taiwanese businessmen from Beijing, Taiwanese youth, outstanding young and middle-aged Taiwanese compatriots in Tianjin, and experts and scholars from Tianjin Institute of Socialism attended.

Fei Wei said in his speech that this cultural study club is a journey of scientific and technological cultural study to deeply understand Xi Jinping's cultural thoughts, a practical journey to actively integrate into the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, and promote the development of Beijing and Tianjin in the same city, an experience journey to experience the new quality of productivity and the development of scientific and technological innovation, and a journey to carry forward the tradition of patriotism and loving the hometown Promote the journey of integration and development. Su Wei expressed his feelings of participating in the seminar in four words: "very shocked", "very moved", "very determined" and "very confident". Everyone unanimously said that the seminar has a prominent theme and rich content, which has broadened the horizon and benefited a lot. Beijing and Tianjin have deep roots in Taiwan. Chinese culture is the common spiritual home of compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Straits.
