According to the staff of Huirong Technology booth, the SM8366 enterprise level master chip has 16 NAND flash memory channels built in, with an interface speed of 2400MT/s, supporting the latest 3DTLC/QLC flash memory, and supporting the scalable 40-bitDDR4-3200/DDR5-4800 DRAM interface.

In terms of performance, we also saw the real situation of the SM8366 master chip on the field test platform. It can provide up to 14GB/s of sequential reading performance and 3.5MIOPS of random reading capability. Compared with the previous generation interface, it has significantly improved, and its performance is very eye-catching.

At the same time, the on-site staff of Huirong booth also explained in detail the latest generation of customizable programmable PCIeGen5SSD solution platform MonTitanTM. It is a high-performance, user programmable PCIeGen5 platform, with the SM8366 master chip built in.

The staff also emphasized some exclusive technologies of SM8366 master control, such as NVMeFDP (flexible data placement) function, which can best place data in SSD NAND devices to improve efficiency and durability. The other is the newly developed PerformaShapeTM technology, which is used to balance and isolate QoS optimization between various storage types, operation types, access sizes, and concurrent operations, making IO requests smoother and limiting exceptions to a certain extent. Especially for multi scene storage applications, PerformaShapeTM's status token bucket algorithm can allow more IO requests to cope with more bursts, thus optimizing the bandwidth utilization of devices and providing more professional services for AI data transmission.
