You can move or copy Excel 2010 worksheets to other locations within the workbook or to other workbooks. However, you need to be very careful when moving or copying worksheets. If you move a worksheet, calculations or charts based on worksheet data may become inaccurate. Similarly, if a moved or copied worksheet is inserted between two datasheets referenced by a 3D formula (3D reference: a reference to a range that spans two or more worksheets in the workbook.), the data on that worksheet may be included in the calculation.

1. To move or copy a worksheet to another workbook, make sure the workbook is open in Microsoft Office Excel.

2. In the same workbook as the worksheet you want to move or copy, select the worksheet you want.

Prompt When multiple sheets are selected, the word "[Workgroup]" will be displayed in the title bar at the top of the sheet. To deselect multiple sheets in the workbook, click any unselected sheet. If you do not see an unselected sheet, right-click the tab of the selected sheet, and then click Ungroup Sheets on the shortcut menu.

3. On the Home tab, in the Cells group, click Format, and under Organize Worksheet, click Move or Copy Worksheet.

4. In the Workbook list, do one of the following:

·Click the workbook to which you want to move or copy the selected worksheet.

Click New Workbook to move or copy the selected worksheet into the new workbook.

5. In the Before the following selected sheets list, do one of the following:

Click the sheet before which you want to insert the moved or copied sheet.

Click Move Last to insert the moved or copied sheet after the last sheet in the workbook and before the Insert Sheet tab.

6. To copy sheets without moving them, select the Make Copy check box.

Tip To move a worksheet in the current workbook, you can drag the selected worksheet along the label row of the worksheet. To copy a worksheet, press and hold Ctrl, and then drag the desired worksheet; Release the mouse button, and then release the Ctrl key.
