On June 15, the first five-a-side football match of the Fifth Workers' Games in Hefei, Anhui Province was held at the Youth Pastoral Football Stadium in Yaohai District. 460 employees from 38 units in the city will participate in the competition. Football fans from all walks of life will meet friends with the ball in this summer to jointly present a wonderful football feast.

The five-a-side football match was hosted by Hefei Federation of Trade Unions and Hefei Sports Bureau, organized by Yaohai District Federation of Trade Unions and Yaohai State owned Assets Group Trade Union, and co organized by Hefei Dongxin Cultural Tourism Investment Co., Ltd.

After the wonderful cheerleading performance, Tong, Deputy Secretary of Yaohai District Party Committee and Head of Yaohai District, delivered a friendly speech, and the referee and athlete representatives swore the oath respectively. Zhang Jiaxiang, secretary of the Party Leadership Group and vice chairman of the Hefei Federation of Trade Unions, announced the official opening of the first five-a-side football match of the 5th Hefei Workers' Games.

The game starts when the referee whistles. The teams from both sides began to compete brilliantly. Players come and go on the court, and every ball is contested. The audience cheers constantly off the court. "We hope to further strengthen the construction of staff sports culture, vigorously improve the physical quality and health level of staff and meet the aspirations of more staff and workers for a better life through a series of events that the staff and workers enjoy seeing and participating in personally," said the relevant person in charge of Yaohai District Federation of Trade Unions.

It is reported that the Hefei Workers' Games has been held for four times, which has played an important role in driving the vigorous development of sports and cultural activities of trade unions at all levels and enriching the spare time life of workers.
