Compared with the same period last year, the output of meat, eggs and milk increased significantly. The per capita disposable income of rural residents was 2764 yuan, up 9.3%, ranking the second in China.
It is understood that since this year, in order to ensure the orderly progress of the work of agriculture and animal husbandry production in our region, the District Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs has formulated and issued the Work Plan of Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Technology to the Countryside in 2024, established a consulting expert group and an insurance working group together with the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of the Autonomous Region, and organized the working group to carry out technical services in the front line, providing scientific and technological support for the development of animal husbandry. In the first quarter, a total of 330 million yuan was released in advance for projects such as livestock sheds, breeding farm construction, cow upgrading and transformation, and forage planting, providing financial support for accelerating the progress of the project. The autonomous region government has introduced several measures to promote the income increase of urban and rural residents, optimized and improved the cash scheme of livestock sales subsidies, and launched promotional activities to help farmers and increase income in various cities and regions, which have played an obvious role in promoting the supply side structural reform of agriculture and animal husbandry. Farmers and herdsmen have significantly increased their enthusiasm for selling livestock, and the potential of animal husbandry has been further released.
