Wang Yongtao, 42 years old, a member of the Communist Party of China, an outstanding member of the Communist Party of Suqian City, "the most beautiful family", is now a postman of Yuelai Branch of Shuyang County Postal Branch.

Wang Yongtao, since he started working in 2004, he has traveled more than 200000 kilometers on the ordinary postal road in 13 years, and has never lost an email or a newspaper; As a postal service worker, he has supported more than 120 orphans and disabled elderly people and children for more than 10 years, and his care reflects the true meaning of the "green messenger".

I love postal service and work hard, and I feel the happiness of being a postman because of my hard work.

For more than ten years, he has traveled all the streets and alleys of Yuelai, and all the potholes on the black land. The total walking distance is more than 200000 kilometers, equivalent to five times the circumference of the earth. How many pairs of shoes he has worn out is unknown. But he never lost an email or a newspaper.

For the postman, what he fears most is that he will get wet in rainy and snowy days. In the winter of 2013, on the way of delivery, it suddenly rained in the sky. In order to protect the mail and newspapers, he took off his coat and covered the mail. The rain in early winter was freezing cold, but he couldn't care about it. When his wife walked up the familiar road with rain gear, she saw drops of cold rain flowing down his face. Who knows the pain in her heart? When he delivered all the mail, he caught a cold for several days. When the newspaper was safely put into the hands of the customer, he felt it was worth it no matter how hard he tried! Sometimes, he felt that although he was an ordinary messenger, he did extraordinary things in an ordinary job and was affectionately regarded by the local people as a "living Lei Feng" on the postal route. In the face of the sales of agricultural materials - Jindadi Compound Fertilizer, one of the "three rural" jobs of postal services, he actively put his mind right, pressured himself, made good use of his spare time to publicize, and also, as the "king of sales", shared his work experience and experience at the relevant work meetings of Shuyang Post.

Over the years, he has measured the hardships and happiness of work step by step with his own feet based on his love of life and dedication to the cause. Although he is still a labor worker at present, he is full of enthusiasm all the time!

Caring for the people and helping others

Liang Yaqiu, a retired cadre living in Penghu Village, Yuelai Town, has a couple of children who work outside all the year round. When it comes to postman Wang Yongtao, he is as familiar as a book: "For more than ten years, my phone bill has been paid by Xiao Wang on behalf of me. I can draw money, save money, send fertilizer, send seeds, and do everything"! In order to take care of Ye Zhili, a 75 year old orphan, Wang Yongtao also posted his telephone number at the old man's home, telling him to ask his neighbor to call him if he was busy. On a weekend in May 2013, the elderly suddenly suffered from enteritis, and a neighbor called. He immediately put aside the farm work at home, hurried to the old man's house, sent the old man to the hospital, from registration to hospitalization, from water delivery to food delivery, and took care of the old man's living. The patients in the next bed thought it was the old man's children. "How are you, the postman?" When he said this, there were sparkling tears in Ye Zhili's eyes.

According to preliminary statistics, Wang Yongtao has funded about 120 people, including the elderly, left behind children, poor families and disabled people, with the value of more than 28000 yuan in items and funds. His deeds were not only reported as Jiahua locally, but also became the focus of media coverage. It has been reported in the Suqian Evening News, Suqian TV Station, Post Road Postage and Suzhou Postage Culture of the provincial post office.

"Post" me all the way without complaint or regret

"It's you who let me get together with my wife who has been separated for more than ten years, and sincerely thank you..." When he recalls the scene of old lady Zhang's family reunion, Wang Yongtao's eyes always flash a sense of pride that cannot be concealed.

Here's the thing: Last November, Yuelai Postal Branch received a letter from Wuxi with unknown address. There was no detailed address of the recipient on the envelope. The sender's signature was Zhang. The head of Yuelai Branch always thinks of Wang Yongtao, the excellent delivery man of the Bureau, when facing the difficulties and puzzles in his work! When Wang Yongtao handed the letter to fill in, he readily agreed. Who would know how hard he had paid? He ran all over 15 villages of Yuelai, walked hard and broke his mouth when asking questions. He still had no news for several days. How could he give up on his dedication? He went to the local police station to check his household registration, but he was disappointed. In the face of repeated losses, his enthusiasm did not diminish. After calming down, he tactfully exchanged the names of the sender and the recipient, and finally found the recipient: a villager in Dafang Village, Yuelai Town. It was this letter that set up a "reunion bridge" across the river. When Mr. Shan, a good man in Wuxi, handed over the old lady Zhang who was taken in to her relatives, what would be left of the gathering of flesh and blood besides being engraved on people's minds? And endless gratitude for good people. It was the successful delivery of this letter that made Wang Yongtao look more approvingly at the "Love Postway" full of true feelings!

Along the way, there will be achievements if you pay. Wang Yongtao has won many honors: in August 2013, he was awarded the honorary title of "Protect Lei Postal Road" by Jiangsu Post Company; In November 2013, he was awarded the honorary title of "Excellent Postman" by Shuyang County Post Office; In December 2013, he was awarded the honorary title of "Advanced Individual" by Shuyang County Post Office; In November 2014, he was awarded the honorary title of "Excellent Postman" by Shuyang County Post Office; In December 2014, he was awarded the honorary title of "Advanced Individual" by Shuyang County Post Office; In November 2015, he was awarded the honorary title of "Excellent Postman" by Shuyang County Post Office; In 2017, he was rated as an excellent Communist Party member by Suqian Municipal Party Committee; In 2018, it was successively rated as "the most beautiful family" by provinces, cities and counties.
