Xushang Street's "Three Measures" to Build a People's Livelihood Security Network for the Disabled

First, centralized mold taking and distribution of accessories. Fully implement various policies to benefit the disabled, and earnestly do a good job in helping the disabled. The district carries out the evaluation activities for the transformation of assistive devices and barrier free facilities for the disabled, and adopts two evaluation modes: centralized and household assessment. Since this year, we have carried out two activities to distribute auxiliary tools, with a total of more than 90 molds.

The second is to provide accurate rehabilitation services. In order to improve the level of rehabilitation services for the disabled, the district has formulated and implemented personalized precision rehabilitation services and supportive rehabilitation services, established precision rehabilitation files, and achieved precision rehabilitation once a year per capita. Since this year, there have been more than 2200 licensed disabled persons in the district, who have helped with rehabilitation training for more than 2000 times.

Third, the base guarantees auxiliary employment. The provincial auxiliary employment base of Xushang Health Center, based on the characteristics and needs of the disabled people, carries out diversified, multi-channel and multi-level auxiliary employment, so that the disabled people have a better sense of achievement, a more sustainable sense of happiness, and a more secure sense of security.
