I Date of defense : May 22-23, see the annex for grouping, and reply in this order.

2、 Materials required for defense

1. Approval materials: in duplicate.

2. Reply resolution: one copy.

3. Paper version of the dissertation: hide the name of the tutor, attach the modification instructions to the front of the dissertation, see the group notice for the number of copies required by the defense experts, and prepare another copy for my use.

4. Defense PPT: The name of the tutor is hidden, and the time for personal statement is about 10 minutes. The PPT includes the review comments and revision instructions of the thesis, and the main contents of the dissertation.

3、 Request for reply

1. Please Half an hour in advance Go to the defense classroom and copy the PPT to the classroom computer in advance. The first and second students of each group have computers and USB flash disks with HDMI interfaces or adapters for standby.

2. On the day of the defense, according to the list of members of the defense committee provided by the secretary, fill in the defense approval materials with the chairman, members, secretary's name and title, work unit (fill in: Beijing Jiaotong University) and other information.

3. Please review the papers, approval materials and resolutions in advance top left corner Indicate the order of defense, just write numbers.

4. The name of the tutor must be hidden from the dissertation and PPT, and it is forbidden to disclose the tutor's information during the defense process.

5. There are thesis reviewers among the teachers of the defense judges. Students who fail to modify their thesis according to the review comments of the thesis reviewers may fail the defense. Please prepare carefully.

6. After the defense is completed, the chairman of the defense will announce the result of the defense on the spot. Students who have passed the defense will fill in the text of the defense resolution revised by the chairman and the questions and answers in the defense in the two defense approval materials.

7. Final paper duplication check: Before the academic degree meeting of the College, the postgraduate department will conduct unified duplication check. If the total copy ratio exceeds 15%, the qualification for the meeting will be canceled.

4、 Submission of materials after defense

1. Defense materials bag: 9:00-11:00 and 14:30-16:30 on May 27, and delivered to Sidong 502 by class. The materials to be submitted are:

(1) Approval materials: in duplicate

(2) Graduate Registration Form: in duplicate

(3) Resolution of defense: 1 original (the version manually changed by the chairman is the original) and 1 copy

(4) Chinese abstract: in duplicate

2. Fill in the degree information and upload the electronic version of the dissertation: students log in to MIS - 32. Academic Affairs System - Degree Information Collection, fill in the degree information and upload the final version of the dissertation. Very important! It is the basis for electronic degree certification. Please fill in carefully to ensure there is no error. Each item is required. Even if the work is not determined, the options related to the work need to be completed. Please save the word version offline as pdf and then upload it. It must be a complete final version of the thesis, including all the contents of the thesis. The signatures of supervisors and students themselves must be inserted in the corresponding places, that is, the signatures of supervisors and students in the "Letter of Authorization for the Use of the Copyright of the Thesis", and the signatures of students in the "Statement of Originality". The date below the signature must be filled in completely. See Annex 8 and Annex 9 for the requirements of the final version of the dissertation. After the submission is completed, the student shall notify the tutor to confirm in the MIS system. See Annex 6 for the tutor confirmation method. The deadline for student submission and tutor confirmation is five month thirty-one day

3. Paper version of dissertation: 2 paper versions bound with glue, the same version as the electronic version, and delivered to Sidong 502 by class. The submission date will be notified later.

4. Graduation electronic photo collection: All students must upload the electronic information collection photos to the "Degree Information Collection" system. If students do not participate in the unified collection, please collect according to the requirements. See Annex 7 for specific requirements. Submit to Sidong 502 by class on May 27. Please confirm whether the photos are correct on "Xuexin" and ensure that the photos are consistent everywhere: electronic photos of Xuexin, electronic photos of degree information collection, paper photos of graduation certificates and degree certificates. The paper photos of the students who participated in the unified organization of the school have been submitted to the Graduate School Training Office by the photo agency.

V Departure procedures

Please pay close attention to the notice of the college in June to handle the departure formalities in June.
