1、 College Profile
Beijing Jiaotong University is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education. It is a national key university with a history of more than 100 years. It focuses on engineering and management, features information, communication, management, and economics, and comprehensively develops engineering, management, economics, science, and literature. It is one of the first batch of universities to award doctoral and master's degrees, one of the first batch of universities to enter the "211 Project" construction, and one of the universities approved by the state to set up graduate schools.
Adhering to the centennial development of the discipline, the School of Economics and Management is committed to building itself into a domestic first-class and internationally renowned school of economics and management. With the mission of "cultivating first-class innovative talents, creating cutting-edge academic knowledge, and serving the modern economic society", the School of Economics and Management adheres to the core concept of "seeking truth, innovation, dedication, caring, and harmony", and continues to forge ahead and has made outstanding achievements. The college now has 221 faculty members, including one academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, one counselor of the State Council, one Changjiang Chair Professor, one member of the Discipline Review Group of the State Council, three members of the Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, one national famous teacher, 40 professors, 87 associate professors, and more than 4000 students in school, including more than 300 doctoral students and more than 2300 graduate students, There are more than 1500 undergraduates. The college has: Department of Economics, Department of Accounting, Department of Business Management, Department of Logistics Management, Department of Information Management, Department of Tourism Management, Department of Engineering Management, Department of Public Management, Department of Finance, China Australia Business School and professional degree education center. At the same time, there are 20 various educational and scientific research institutions, including China Enterprise Merger and Reorganization Research Center, China Enterprise Competitiveness Research Center, China Industrial Security Research Center, Institute of Transport Economic Theory and Policy, Institute of Development Strategy, Institute of Labor Economy and Human Resources Management, and Institute of Value added Logistics.
2、 Project Introduction
EDP Center is a special organization set up by the School of Economics and Management to hold interdisciplinary and comprehensive middle and senior level training programs. It provides training services for middle and senior civil servants, business personnel, managers and technicians at home and abroad. "Customized products, high-level teachers and professional services" are the important features of middle - and high-level training. The characteristics of EDP Center are reflected in the advanced education concept, first-class teacher team, international training vision, flexible training plans, rich teaching methods and high-quality teaching services. The training fields mainly cover: enterprise operation management, logistics and supply chain management, finance and trade, financial management and investment and financing, engineering and project management, tourism service industry management, enterprise informatization and e-commerce, etc. According to customer needs, more customized training modules (products) can be integrated.
3、 Teaching staff
EDP Center has gathered the highest level training teachers and experts at home and abroad, all with rich training experience. Most of the teachers have the experience of serving as enterprise consultants, experts or overseas refresher education to ensure that the training courses are knowledgeable, practical, advanced and international. In terms of the selection of lecturers and experts, we should combine both on campus and off campus, and combine professors, entrepreneurs and government officials.
4、 Hardware and software facilities
The center has 1 multi-function lecture hall, 5 multimedia classrooms, 1 computer room, multiple case discussion rooms and research rooms. The multimedia classroom is equipped with wireless Internet access. A large number of information resources and computer network resources that can meet the needs of training have been purchased, such as Harvard online course software, Harvard video cases, Sun Tzu's Art of War, Chinese style management and other training video materials.
