Plekhanov University of Economics

Founded in 1907, Russia's Plekhanov University of Economics is a famous high-level university of finance and economics in Russia. From 2012 to 2015, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation successively merged the Saratov State University of Socioeconomics, the Russian State University of Economics and Trade and the Moscow State University of Economic Statistics and Information into Russia's Plekhanov University of Economics. The main campus of Russian Plekhanov University of Economics (hereinafter referred to as Russian University of Economics) is located in the center of Moscow. The restructured Plekhanov University of Economics in Russia has a wider popularity and stronger teaching and research strength in Russia. It has 17 departments, including the Department of Finance, the Department of Economics, the Department of Marketing, the Department of Management and the Department of Law. It has more than 3500 teachers, including 570 doctors, 1880 associate doctors, and more than 70000 students. The school covers a total area of 106438,5 square meters, of which the teaching building covers an area of 79615 square meters, about 74,8% of the total area. The university has obtained the authoritative certification of international educational institutions such as ECCE, Association of MBAs, CIM, CIMA and EOQ, and has carried out double degree and three degree joint education projects with 14 universities in France, Germany, the Netherlands and Austria.
