On the morning of May 14, 2024, the opening ceremony of the special training class on project management and risk control capability improvement of state-owned enterprises was held in the academic lecture hall on the second floor of the mechanical engineering building of Beijing Jiaotong University. Gao Yan, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and vice president of Beijing Jiaotong University, Li Xuewei, former president of Beijing Union University and professor of Beijing Jiaotong University, Guo Xuemeng, director of the External Liaison and Cooperation Office, and Shi Xianliang, president of the School of Economics and Management; Liu Fuguang, Director of the Cadre Education and Training Center of the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, Executive Vice President of the Branch of the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the Central Party School, and Zhou Jiannong, Director of the Fifth Division of the Cadre Education and Training Center of the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Shi Xianliang.

First of all, Gao Yan, on behalf of Beijing Jiaotong University, extended a warm welcome to all the leaders and students in her speech, and sincerely thanked the SASAC Cadre Education and Training Center for its trust in Jiaotong University. She highlighted a series of major achievements made by the school in the deployment and development process of scientific and technological development frontier and major national strategic needs in recent years, as well as the scientific research strength, teaching staff and management personnel training experience currently possessed by the School of Economics and Management. Gao Yan said that this training was dedicated to the systematic construction of project management and the improvement of operation risk control ability, so as to effectively enhance the systematic and overall view of state-owned enterprise project management. In order to run the training course well, the School of Economics and Management has made careful design in curriculum, teacher allocation, organization and management, and strives to provide high-quality teaching organization and service for everyone. She hoped that the students present could further improve their professional knowledge and business control ability through this training and learning while experiencing the profound history and culture of Jiaotong University and enjoying the beautiful campus environment at a close distance, so as to make greater contributions to the vigorous development of state-owned enterprises.

Next, Liu Fuguang, on behalf of the SASAC Cadre Education and Training Center of the State Council, expressed heartfelt thanks to Beijing Jiaotong University for its strong support for the smooth implementation of this project, and extended a warm welcome to all the students who came to participate in the training. The SASAC and the School of Economics and Management of Jiaotong University jointly held this training course after extensive research, in-depth discussion and careful planning. The School of Economics and Management has done a lot of meticulous work, closely focusing on the two themes of project management and risk prevention and control, and invited many well-known experts and professors in the industry to conduct in-depth analysis and interpretation. He believed that this training course would be a wonderful knowledge journey for everyone. He hoped that everyone would make full use of this opportunity to integrate learning, thinking, understanding and learning into work practice, enhance confidence, seize the momentum, focus on services, build a new development pattern, promote high-quality development, and constantly improve project management level and risk prevention and control ability.
