People's Daily Online, Chengdu, May 19 (Reporter Chen Xi) The results of the selection of the top ten exhibits and exhibitions of the 17th National Museum (2019) sponsored by the China Museum Association and the China Heritage Newspaper were announced at the Nanjing Museum, the main venue of this year's "5.18 International Museum Day". Among them, Sanxingdui: The World of Man and God - Sichuan Ancient Shu Civilization Exhibition won the 17th (2019) National Top Ten Exhibition Excellence Award · International and Hong Kong Macao Taiwan Cooperation Award.

It is understood that the award-winning exhibitions of the "National Top Ten Exhibition Excellence Awards" are all representatives of the highest level of museum exhibitions in China. The event has been successfully held for 17 sessions from 1997 to 2020.

Under the careful guidance of Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Cultural Relics, Sanxingdui Museum, together with 8 cultural and museum institutions, including Jinsha Site Museum, Sichuan Museum, Chengdu Museum, Sichuan Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology, Chengdu Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology, Mianyang Museum, Maoxian Qiang Museum, fully considered the way of thinking, aesthetic habits and Italian venues of western audiences, Sanxingdui: World of Man and God - Sichuan Ancient Shu Civilization Special Exhibition was planned. This exhibition is a new round of global exhibition tour promoted by Sichuan. Its first stop will be displayed in the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, Italy, on December 14, 2018, and will end on March 11, 2019; The second stop is the Italian Trajan Market and the Imperial Plaza Museum. The exhibition opened on March 25, 2019 and ended on October 18, 2019. It lasted nearly 10 months in the Yaping Peninsula, receiving 950000 visitors, setting off a wave of exhibition watching fever.

This exhibition is a new attempt of foreign cultural exchange exhibition. The exhibition design breaks through "self talk and self talk", moves towards "dialogue and exchange", tells Chinese stories in the way of western interpretation, and integrates Chinese cultural relics with western ancient buildings and historical relics through a unique exhibition form, realizing an intuitive and open dialogue of civilizations in the world context. The exquisite cultural relics, the ingenious content design and the visually striking exhibition form have been widely praised by the Italian audience, which enables them to appreciate the unique charm of ancient Shu civilization and also recognize the richness and diversity of Chinese civilization.
