From May 29 to 31, the 2019 American International Book Fair was held in New York. This important global copyright and book trade event has great influence in North America, attracting more than 500 exhibitors from all over the world.

At this Expo, the series of Chinese National Human Geography, a major national publishing project in the 13th Five Year Plan, organized and implemented by China Map Publishing Group, participated in the exhibition, and sincerely communicated with American readers in the way of "one book, one city". Many American readers who are interested in Chinese culture come to the booth to read the series of books. Ningde's "hometown of covered bridges", Wuwei's "hometown of Tianma", Yichun's "capital of the moon", Jiangmen's "capital of overseas Chinese", Putian's "hometown of Mazu", Haidong's "Qinghai Tibet first stop", Huzhou's "holy land of two mountains", Liaoyang's "old capital of four dynasties", Yichun's "capital of Chinese forests" Fushun's "the place of departure in the Qing Dynasty" and other city cards are deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, and many international readers have expressed their yearning for Chinese cities.

The Chinese National Human Geography series takes Chinese cities as a unit and aims to show the historical culture, human resources, geographical conditions, ecological civilization construction and economic and social development achievements of Chinese cities authoritatively, stereoscopically and truly through the two dimensions of history and geography. Previously, the series has appeared at the 2018 Frankfurt International Book Fair and the 2019 London International Book Fair, helping overseas readers to touch the pulse of Chinese culture from a distance, feel the bright prospect of the booming development of Chinese cities in the new era, enhance the popularity and influence of Chinese cities overseas, and make the golden cards of Chinese cities always bright and new on the world stage.
