Recently, Raoyang Town joined hands with the County Meteorological Bureau and China Taibao Property Insurance Chaozhou Center Branch to innovate the new mechanism of forest fire prevention, explore the implementation of the province's first meteorological forest fire early warning insurance project, improve the initiative and enthusiasm of forest fire prevention, realize the transformation of forest fire prevention concept from "I want to prevent" to "I want to prevent", and help green, beautiful and peaceful ecological construction.
Raoyang Town has 6066.45 hectares of forest land and 73.81% of forest coverage. The task of forest fire prevention is arduous and the responsibility is great. Recently, Raoyang Town has actively explored the implementation of the first meteorological forest fire early warning insurance project in the province and insured all 90996.76 mu of forest land in the town through the work team stationed in Zhenbang Town and supporting the village, coordinated with the county meteorological bureau and the Chaozhou Center Branch of China Taipao Property Insurance.
It is reported that meteorological forest fire early warning insurance is to pay according to the level of early warning signals when yellow, orange and red meteorological forest fire early warning signals are issued in the target area. The higher the level, the more compensation.

For the administrative village with forest fire, not only the compensation payment will be transferred to other administrative villages, but also the relevant responsible person will be held accountable.
