On May 11, the WeChat official account of "Pingtan Traffic Police WeChat Release" announced that some sections of Longfeng East Road in Pingtan would be subject to traffic control during construction. The details are as follows:

Due to the construction needs of Pingtan Old Town Upgrading Project, in order to ensure orderly, safe and smooth road traffic, according to the provisions of Article 39 of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China, it is decided to carry out traffic control on some sections of Longfeng East Road. Vehicles other than two wheeled vehicles and pedestrians are prohibited from passing through the control area. The relevant matters are announced as follows:

May 17 to June 30, 2024

2、 Controlled area

From the intersection of Longfeng East Road and Zhongyin Road in the west to the intersection of Longfeng East Road and Xihang Road in the east
