In early summer, the box girder erection site of the new Shanghai Nanjing Hefei high-speed railway built by China Railway Construction Bridge Bureau was busy, and the construction personnel were working hard on the construction line to ensure the smooth progress of key projects.

It is reported that the newly-built Shanghai Nanjing Hefei high-speed railway is an important part of the riverside channels in the "eight vertical and eight horizontal" plan of the national medium and long-term railway network. It is a fast and direct route between the cities along the Yangtze River in the north and the Nanjing Metropolitan Circle, and the Shanghai Metropolitan Circle. It undertakes the transportation of the passenger flow of the main road network of the riverside channels, as well as part of the coastal and Beijing Shanghai channels that directly connect to Shanghai.
