Wukang Road, with a total length of about 1180 meters, has many historical buildings along the road with different styles and characteristics. Among them, Wukang Building, located at the intersection of Wukang Road and Huaihai Middle Road, was built in 1924, which is a typical veranda building.
It is reported that after the protective repair in 2019, all overhead lines around Wukang Building were cleared into the ground, and the overall architectural style was fully presented under the clear skyline, making it one of the hottest landmarks in Shanghai in recent years.
