On the morning of November 8, seven J-10 demonstration planes from the August 1 Air Force of the People's Liberation Army went to the United Arab Emirates to participate in the 18th Dubai Air Show held from November 13 to 17.
This Dubai Air Show is the second time that the Air Force August 1 Flight Show Team has made its debut in the United Arab Emirates since November 2017, and it is also the first time that the Air Force August 1 Flight Show Team has flown to the Middle East countries after dressing up for J-10C. At that time, they will dance in the blue sky with multinational flight show teams. It is reported that they have arranged and designed more than 20 flight shows according to the meteorological conditions and airport characteristics.
Since its establishment more than 60 years ago, the Air Force August 1 Flight Show Team has successively equipped J-5, J-6, J-Jiao-5, J-7EB, J-7GB, J-10, and J-10C demonstration aircraft. It has performed more than 700 flight shows for more than 700 delegations from more than 170 countries and regions, and has flown out of the country eight times to perform flight show missions, demonstrating the image of the Chinese Air Force on the international stage of forging ahead and pursuing excellence.
