In order to forge excellent shooting skills, Luo Sheng practiced these boring movements of gun, aiming and firing for thousands of times, and his hands were worn out with thick calluses until "muscle memory" was formed. Six months later, his sniper team won the championship in the "peak" competition of the Second Mobile Armed Police Corps.

"I still remember that on a major emergency mission, 29 members of the team who were about to expire their service period resolutely postponed their return to their hometown and offered to join the war, and the officers and soldiers of the mission rushed to the front line overnight." Sharpen a sword

When entering the squadron training ground, the word "Sharpen Sword" on the climbing training wall is particularly eye-catching.

"The so-called 'sharpening the sword' is to carry forward the spirit of 'courage', and sharpen our team into a sharp sword that pierces the enemy's heart." In Yang Shiwu's view, this requires the renewal and reshaping of the combat concept and training mode.

The officers and men of the squadron worked together to figure out a good plan: Liu Bing, the vice captain of the squadron, led the officers and men to discuss collectively, assembled and placed the electronic buzzer and optical sensor on the target paper, developed and designed an automatic target indicator, and realized the instant feedback of the results of the empty gun shooting practice; Liu Jialin, the ordnance officer, calls on everyone to make "hand drawn drawings" of the performance parameters and operation specifications of weapons, paste them on the book and stick them in the wardrobe, and deepen the mastery of weapon theoretical knowledge through listening and seeing

To improve their practical skills, they "asked for hardship" and set up the "Five Squadron Standard" in the training ground: fast reflexive shooting does not count as target rate but shooting rate, and special shooting time is shortened by 0.3 seconds

To tackle new challenges and new training methods, the squadron set up a "task team" to carry out trial first training for difficult training courses, collate and compile training notes of more than 100000 words, and explore various training modes such as "upgrading the pass system"

Sharpen the sword to dare to show it——

In 2018, all officers and soldiers successfully completed a task with the excellent performance of "full time response and no mistakes"; In 2019, the superior transferred personnel to take on a major task. The officers and soldiers of the squadron were happy when they heard of the battle, and spontaneously competed in the martial arts contest. The winner went to the war... In recent years, the squadron participated in 21 exercises and trainings, and five emergency trips were made to carry out rescue and disaster relief tasks.
