On November 1, Guangzhou launched the first self driving taxi in mainland China and put it into trial operation. Taxis are equipped with laser radar, professional camera, millimeter wave radar and other multi-sensor integration to achieve 360 degree omnidirectional perception. In addition, the taxi is equipped with a safety officer for emergencies. Citizens can experience self driving taxis at a starting price of 12 yuan by placing an order through APP or applet.
