On March 16, according to the news on the website of the Chinese Consulate General in Jeju, the Chinese Embassy and Consulate General in South Korea will provide the following conveniences for visa applicants (hereinafter referred to as "vaccinated personnel") who have been vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccine produced in China and hold vaccination certification materials from March 15, 2021, in order to orderly resume exchanges between Chinese and foreign personnel:

Personnel and their families who come to China to resume work and production in various fields (work Z, business M, visit F) do not need to provide invitations issued by Chinese provincial foreign affairs offices or the Department of Commerce and other departments, but can submit applications according to the requirements of various pre epidemic visa materials.

Chinese citizens or family members of foreign citizens permanently residing in China (including spouses, parents, children, brothers and sisters, grandparents, maternal grandparents, grandchildren, grandchildren, etc.) who apply for a reunion, family visit or emergency humanitarian (that is, mourning or visiting critical relatives) visa can submit an application according to the requirements of various visa materials before the epidemic.

Those who hold valid APEC cards can apply for business visas free of charge (including fees and expedited fees) with the invitation letter issued by the domestic inviter.

All the above visa applications must be submitted through the China Visa Application Service Center. Please fill in the visa application form online in advance( https://www.visaforchina.org )Make an appointment for the time of handling the card and submit the application according to the appointment time. Please refer to China Visa Application Service Center for specific procedures and requirements.

China's requirement that those who take flights to China must present double negative certificates of NCP nucleic acid test and serum antibody test to board the aircraft remains unchanged. After entering the country, please abide by China's relevant regulations on isolation and observation.

If a person who has not been vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccine produced in China or who does not hold vaccination certification materials (hereinafter referred to as "uninoculated person") needs to apply for a visa, please refer to the visa processing instructions issued by the Embassy in South Korea on November 2, 2020.
